EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS
At ICC parish, the Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion help the priest not only in the distribution of the Holy Eucharist during Holy Mass and also, with additional training, as Sacristans, who perform specific duties including the preparation of the Holy Eucharist for the celebration of the Mass. This includes readying the wine, water and bread and putting them in place before the start of Mass. assist the priest in the absence of the altar servers.
EM’s also visit to the home bound and go to the hospital once a week to give Holy Communion to those that can not attend the Sunday Mass.
