The Pilgrimage of the Cross of Gratitude
Our parish is blessed to host the Cross of Gratitude which is doing a pilgrimage around the world. Built in anticipation of the 2000th anniversary of the passion, death and resurrection of Christ in 2033, the cross has traveled to more than 46 countries. St. Pope John Paul II blessed the initiators of this mission in 2004. Pope Benedict XVI blessed the cross during a pilgrimage to Poland in 2006 and Pope Francis blessed the cross and all those leading the evangelization campaign in 2016.
The Cross of Gratitude is coming to our parish on November 2nd. We will have the reception of the cross at the All Souls Mass at 7pm in Church and it will remain in front of the altar for veneration until November 8th. Please check the posters around the Church and the parish bulletin for the schedule of activities each night at 7pm here in Church.
Hope to see you there!
