Come join Immaculate Conception Church (ICC) and Jesse Manibusan, an acclaimed evangelizer, composer, musician and public speaker/storyteller for a “Building Bridges: A Lenten Experience.”
You may know Jesse best for his music, particularly his song, “Open My Eyes”. Jesse’s blend of singing, storytelling and humor provide a powerful approach to catechesis and evangelization for people of all ages – he has presented for the last three Pope’s and at multiple World Youth Days! Jesse earned an MA in Multicultural Ministries from the Franciscan School of Theology, Berkeley, CA. His music is published by Oregon Catholic Press and Spirit & Song (a division of OCP). In 2014, Jesse received the National Catholic Youth Award, for Presenter/Artist Category by the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministries, INC.
“Building Bridges: A Lenten Experience with Jesse Manibusan” is a community activity that aims to prepare us spiritually to meditate on the meaning of Lent. The event will start with an interactive Concert Friday evening March 31st 7:30pm–9:30pm in the Church. Open to families of all ages; tickets are $10 per person. The experience will continue on Saturday April 1st from 9:00am–2:30pm in the Church. Open to ages 13 and above; tickets are $ 15 per person and include lunch.
